Your experience begins with a safety briefing and an outline of basic handling techniques from your expert instructor. Then go out onto the water in your one-person kayaks. You'll be shown a variety of skills used by the experts and you'll quickly get the hang of handling your boat. Take to the controls of a race-bred Formula 25 hovercraft at one of two purpose-built courses. Your instructor will show you the skills that you need to operate the vehicle. Surfing is no longer the preserve of teenagers who call everyone dude - because the rest of the world has cottoned on to how much fun it is. On this full day experience you'll learn the basics of surfing practice and etiquette and by the end of the day you'll be catching some waves with the best of them. The experience takes place either in Cornwall (home of British surfing) or Cleveland, and the instructors all hold lifeguard and first aid qualifications, so you'll be in safe hands. During your morning lesson you'll learn all about safety, basic paddling techniques, catching waves, board trim and steering, standing up (the hard bit!), wave selection and rights of way.
