Ice Climbing for Two
Ice Climbing for Two

It's vertical, freezing and 50 feet high. And you're going to climb it. More than five times bigger than any other indoor ice climbing wall in the world, this is the perfect place to go ice climbing, even if you've never handled an ice axe before. After getting kitted out, you'll get a full briefing on safety and basic climbing techniques. Then you'll tackle the ice wall, with constant supervision from your expert instructor, using a top-roped belay safety system. There are routes ranging from simple, easy angled slopes for the beginner, through to gully features and hanging bollards for more experienced climbers. It's a thrilling, challenging experience - and one that you may get addicted to! All climbing equipment and specialist clothing are included, and you'll also receive a DVD to take home with pictures of your climb. Click Here for More Details...

Introduction to Snowboarding for Four
Introduction to Snowboarding for Four

Let's be honest: nobody wants to hit the slopes for the first time looking like a complete novice, even if they are one. So get some practice in before going on holiday with a snowboarding lesson at SnowDome, the UK's top indoor real snow centre. You'll start off with a safety briefing and an introduction to all the equipment (which is all included). Then you'll try out some basic moves and find out whether you're a 'regular foot' or 'goofy foot' - that is, whether you leading leg is your left or your right. You'll get to grips with the right stance for balance, and then move on to gaining control of the toe edge and heel edge of the board and going down the slope zigzagging from left to right and back again - the 'falling leaf' manoeuvre. Your qualified instructor will be on hand throughout, to give you loads of help and to pick you up when you topple over. Click Here for More Details...

Indoor Rock and Ice Climbing for Two
Indoor Rock and Ice Climbing for Two

Got a head for heights and nerves of steel? Challenge yourself with a whole day of climbing at the National Ice Climbing Centre - the UK's top indoor rock and ice climbing facility. Even if you're a complete stranger to crampons, this is the place to learn the ropes (pun intended). After being kitted out with climbing equipment (all included) you'll start off with your feet still firmly on the ground during a full briefing on safety and basic climbing techniques. Then put theory into practice with an hour and a half rock climbing session, scaling the indoor wall with expert instruction. After lunch (not included) at the on-site cafe, you'll tackle the ice wall. Using a top-roped belay safety system, you'll climb the 50ft wall of ice, neve (frozen snow) and a variety of precarious angles to give you an exhilarating (and occasionally terrifying) introduction to the sport. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve! At the end of the day you'll receive a photo and certificate to take home. Click Here for More Details...
