An aluminium chassis, bodywork honed in the wind tunnel and the all important prancing horse on the bonnet, the Ferrari 430 is the replacement for the 360 and is the ultimate supercar. The massive engine takes you from 0 - 60mph in 3.5 seconds and what better place to try it than at Thruxton, the UK’s fastest motor circuit, still used for Superbikes and Touring Car championships. Your experience begins with a short safety briefing before a qualified instructor takes you on two demonstration laps in a hot hatch so you can learn the racing lines and circuit driving techniques on this 1.8 mile circuit. Next take the wheel of an Italian Ferrari classic in either a Ferrari 328 or Ferrari 355 for four high speed laps. Once you've got your breath back, you'll move on to the 'must have' American muscle car - the supercharged 6-litre V12 Hummer H2 - for a further four laps. These two very different cars will give you a completely different ride, with your instructor encouraging you all the way. You'll finish with a debrief and certificate presentation. The Ferrari F430 is one of the finest sports cars in the world, and driving it is an intense pleasure. It has a 4.3 litre V8 engine producing 483bhp, combined with astonishing road-holding and manoeuvrability. You'll kick off with a briefing, then your instructor will drive you for three laps in a Mazda 3 MPS to familiarise you with the driving lines of the circuit. Next you'll swap over to the driving seat for four laps in a Porsche Cayman. Then at last you'll slip behind the wheel of the all-aluminium F430 for four mind-blowing laps. Be warned, this car is capable of 0-60 mph in under four seconds and has a top speed of almost 200mph; it's not for the faint-hearted. You'll finish driving five laps in a Formula Renault single-seater - sitting two inches off the ground, with lightning-quick steering and braking, this little dynamo of a car gives a totally different ride to the Ferrari. Two world-famous marques go head to head - with you in the driving seat. The Ferrari F360 is one of Maranello's finest driving machines. Capable of 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 183 mph, this car is all about pace, handling and refinement. The Lamborghini Gallardo is a totally different drive - brutal and uncompromising, with 500bhp and a top speed of nearly 200 mph. You'll start with a briefing and some demonstration laps from a qualified instructor, who'll talk you through the racing lines, driving techniques and how to best handle the car out on the track.
